If the live record expressly says released or out of custody, save that exact label and the facility and identifier tied to it. Then confirm with Butler County Prison or the correct state office. Confirm Butler County VINE Alerts
A PA SAVIN alert and an agency release record serve different roles. The alert gives prompt notice that a participating source reported an event. Butler County Prison’s existing release record can supply the actual date, time, authority or type, and destination for its custody period. Butler County VINE Coverage Limits
PA SAVIN does not cover federal Bureau of Prisons custody or ICE detention. A Butler County case can still cross those boundaries through a federal transfer, detainer, or immigration pickup. A no-match can reflect release, removal, transfer, an identifier mismatch, or a system limit.
VINELink can also lag behind the originating agency. The official Pennsylvania material does not promise how long a released result remains searchable. Use it for current notification and matched event evidence, not as a complete archive of all Butler County releases.
Resolve Butler County VINE No-Results
A blank search has several possible causes.
